The Work
Stealth Nutrition Case Study Nutrition App - Meal Creation/Supply Developing a nutrition app with the larger goal of meal creation and delivery service required a comprehensive approach, especially with the addition of a trainer web portal and a service provider portal for meal delivery. Here's how I navigated the challenges with a small dev and product team using an agile model with weekly releases: Initial Planning and Research: Conducted thorough market research to understand the needs of users, trainers, and meal service providers in the nutrition and meal delivery industry.
Defined the scope of the app, considering features such as meal planning, recipe browsing, dietary tracking, trainer support, and integration with meal delivery services. Agile Sprint Planning: Adopted an agile development methodology with short, one-week sprints to maintain flexibility and adaptability. Collaborated closely with the team to prioritize tasks for each sprint, considering the requirements of both the main app and the additional portals for trainers and service providers.
Rapid Prototyping and Design: Developed rapid prototypes for the main app as well as separate designs for the trainer web portal and service provider portal. Gathered feedback from stakeholders to ensure that the designs met the needs and expectations of each user group. Iterated on the designs based on feedback, making adjustments to accommodate the requirements of all parties involved. Incorporating persona creation for trainers, meal service providers, and end users was crucial to understanding their unique needs and designing the nutrition app accordingly.
