About this project
Creating a brand guideline along with a material patterns system for marketing and social platforms involves several key steps and considerations. Here is a high level outline of my process:
Logo & Brandwork
Brand Discovery and Research- Understand the company's mission, values, and target audience.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Gather insights on the company's current branding, if any, and assess its effectiveness.
- Define the brand's positioning, personality, and messaging.
- Develop a brand architecture if applicable (for example, if the company has multiple sub-brands or product lines).
- Determine the brand's visual identity elements such as logo, color palette, typography, and imagery style.

- Create a comprehensive document that outlines the brand's visual identity and usage guidelines.
- Specify logo usage, including size, placement, and clear space requirements.
- Define the primary and secondary color palettes along with their appropriate usage (e.g., for backgrounds, text, accents).
- Select a typography system, specifying font families, sizes, and styles for various applications (e.g., headings, body text).
- Review the brand guidelines to incorporate feedback and make necessary updates.
- Ensure that the branding remains relevant and aligned with the company's goals and evolving market trends.
- Gather input from stakeholders, and other relevant parties to continuously improve the brand's visual identity and user experience.
